Thanks Mike, you're the best!
Built by Émile Claveau, Paris, France. The car on the image is a prototype from ± 1927 that was exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1928. It was a very advanced concept of a streamlined four-seat saloon with a four cylinder ‘boxer’ engine in the tail (but in front of the rear axle; actually it was more a mid-engine) and independent suspension on all four wheels. Emile Claveau was not an engineer but studied, just as Gabriel Voisin did, at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. He designed very remarkable cars, but never sold a single one.
Do you like puzzles? I don't because I hate it when I do not know an answer. On this page you will discover postards with cars I do not recognise, so please help me identifying them!
